Meeami Technologies, an audio AI and audio analytics software provider, has introduced its Speaker ID technology. This product offers speaker or user identification using voice for ATM cash withdrawal, bank transactions, e-commerce, phone lock/unlock and more, according to a press release.
This technology uses multi-variate-noise-supression to identify and suppress background noise. Speaker ID is available on a variety of devices including DSPs, AI engines and CPUs. The company is offering it as an embedded software on client side applications, edge devices and APIs/SDKs for cloud-based applications.
"The uniqueness of Meeami Speaker ID is its robust performance in noisy conditions found at home and in office environment," Pankaj Joshi, head of product at Meeami, said in the release. "Unlike some competing solutions that need to send data to cloud for speaker ID to work, Meeami Speaker ID is completely secure as it works totally on the edge without sending any data to the cloud."
